Who are we?
Senise Family Farms is a two-human, two-dog operation in the western corner of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We focus on quality plant-derived products sourced from plants we grow on our small farm and forage from our local area. Our goal is to help provide mindfully crafted small batch herbal products, homegrown seeds and handmade goods to our local and extended communities.
-Rose & Michael Senise
Senise Family Farms was born in Los Angeles in 2020 and has since evolved dramatically into its current iteration in the Upper Peninsula. Constantly learning from the plants and animals around us, we get excited by warty toads, animal tracks and finding old bones. We love watching horror movies, making salsa and obsessing over our two dogs, Kalima & Zuul.
Outside of growing, foraging and formulating we’ve found a lot of value in involving ourselves in our local community. We both serve on the Board of Directors for the Gogebic Range Farmers Market Association and work at H.O.P.E. Animal Shelter.
At the end of the day we’re two people trying to have a fun ride around the sun as friends, business and life partners.
